ITHACA, N.Y. -- A limited number of spaces are still available for the Cornell baseball program's Prospect Showcase Weekend, to be held on Sept. 10-12 at Hoy Field. The camp is designed for players entering their junior and senior years of high school with aspirations to play baseball at the collegiate level.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Rick Marks, a rising junior with the Cornell baseball team, was named to the Makai Islanders All-Star team for the Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League. His Islanders team scored a 6-4 victory over the Mauka Warriors on July 19.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- A pair of Cornell baseball players have gotten off to outstanding seasons in summer baseball play and have been named to the all-star teams in their respective leagues. Rising junior Brian Billigen was selcted to the Coastal Plain League American Division All-Star team, while rising senior Taylor Wood has been named to the West Division team in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Twelve new members, including five All-Americans and an Olympic medalist, have been selected for induction into the Cornell University Athletic Hall of Fame at the 33rd annual ceremonies to be held October 15, on the Cornell campus. After this year's class is inducted, the membership in the Hall will stand at 522.

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for All-Ivy Academic honors in spring sports this week. The 80 men and women were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages.
