Cornell Sees 10 Named to Spring Academic All-Ivy Team

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for All-Ivy Academic honors in spring sports this week. The 80 men and women were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Golf Finishes Sixth At Ivy Championships

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- The cornell men's golf team finished sixth at the 2010 Ivy League championship on Sunday afternoon at Baltusrol Golf Course. Robert Cronheim earned a top 10 finish, while Matt Jaye was 13th in the final standings. The Big Red shot a 312 on day three's final round to finish with a team score of 915. Columbia won the Ivy League title by three shots over runner-up Yale.

Golf Plays Baltusrol Golf Course Looking For First Ivy Title

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell golf team will head to the home of seven U.S. Opens in search of its first-ever Ivy League championship this weekend when its fivesome tackles the course at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield Township, N.J. The three-day, 54-hole tournament begins on Friday, April 23 and concludes with the final round on Sunday, April 25.

Men's Golf Ties For Fifth At Yale After Outstanding Second Round

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Cornell golf team shaved 19 strokes off its first round total and surged into fifth place to finish the Caves Valley Spring Intercollegiate on Sunday afternoon. The Big Red tied host Yale after posting a 303 for a two round total of 625.

Jaye Places Eighth, Golf Finishes 10th At Princeton Invite

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's golf team, led b y Matthew Jaye's eighth place individual finish, placed 10th overall at the 2010 Princeton Invitational on Sunday afternoon. Jaye shot a final round 68 to finish his three-round tournament with a total of 218. The Big Red shot an 897 as a team in the two-day tournament.

Cornell Among Seven Ivy Schools To Compete At Princeton Invite

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's golf team returns to action this weekend at the Princeton Invitational beginning on Saturday, April 10 at Springdale Golf Club. The Big Red will be part of the 15-team field on the par 71 course that is expected to play at 6,390 yards. Each team will play 36 holes on Saturday, followed by an 18 hole finale on Sunday.

Golf Places 14th At Towson Fireline Invitational

TOWSON, Md. -- The Cornell golf team placed 14th at the 2010 Fireline Towson Invitational on Sunday afternoon, finishing the third and final round with a 314 to finish with a team total of 935. Dan Bosse was the team's top finisher in 16th place after shooting a final round 74.
