Men's Polo Season Comes To An End At Nationals

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- In the sweltering evening heat of 90 degrees, the Cornell men's polo team took on the Red Raiders of Texas Tech at the national championship tournament in Charlottesville, Va. The Big Red ended its season with a record of 14-5.

Polo Plays Final Home Tuneups Before Nationals

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Big Red men's and women's polo teams will tune up for next weekend's U.S. Polo Association National Championship tournament with its final non-conference matchups of the season at Oxley Equestrian Center. The men will play host to Gardnertown on Thursday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m., while the women will meet the Baltimore Polo Club on Friday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Polo Teams Attempt To Bounce Back Against Toronto Polo Club

ITHACA, N.Y. -- After hard defeats on the road, the Cornell men's and women's polo teams will return home for their final tuneups before the Northeast Regional championships this weekend when both teams meet the Toronto Polo Club. The women will play on Friday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Oxley Equestrian Center, while the men will compete on Saturday, March 6 with a 7:30 p.m. start.

Kentucky Outlasts Cornell In Men's Polo, 12-11

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Cornell men's polo team missed an opportunity to win the match late in regulation, but Kentucky took home a shootout victory after two rounds and took home a 12-11 victory on Sunday. The Big Red fell to 10-4 with the loss.
