ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell senior Matt Bouraee was named to the second team Scholar All-America squad by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Bouraee was one of two Ivy League players to be named to the squad.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell senior forward Matt Bouraee was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Northeast District Second Team for his play during the 2009 season, the organization announced on Friday. Bouraee's honor is the first for a Big Red men's soccer player since Brian Kuritzky was named to the second team in 2007.

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for All-Ivy Academic honors in fall sports this week. The 80 men and women were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each institution nominated five men and women from its eligible student-athletes.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell senior forward Matt Bouraee (Manasquan, N.J.) earned first-team All-Ivy League honors in the league's annual post-season awards, the league office announced on Tuesday. Bouraee was joined in earning all-league recognition by freshmen Rick Pflasterer (Ann Arbor, Mich.) and Bennett Kenyon (Lockport, N.Y.), who both received honorable mention.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Senior Matt Bouraee scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Cornell men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Columbia on Saturday afternoon at Berman Field in Ithaca. The win gives Cornell a 6-6-5 record overall, the first .500 mark since the 2001 season.
