ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell equestrian team will compete at the two-day Morrisville Horse Show beginning on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Equine Breeding and Training Center. The Big Red will compete with 14 other schools in an attempt to qualify riders for the zone and regional championships in one of several events: open, intermediate and novice equitation over fences, open, intermediate and novice flat equitation, beginner and advanced walk-trot-canter, walk-trot and alumni events. The competition will begin at 9 a.m. on both mornings.
Cornell opened the 2009-10 season on Oct. 25 with a fourth-place finish at the Hartwick Show at Hunter's Rein Stable in Otego before last week's sixth-place effort in the Home Show.
