Final Resuls
TOWSON, Md. -- The Cornell golf team placed 14th at the 2010 Fireline Towson Invitational on Sunday afternoon, finishing the third and final round with a 314 to finish with a team total of 935.
Dan Bosse was the team's top finisher in 16th place after shooting a final round 74.
While Bosse's third round total gave him a 224, Matthew Jaye also found himself in the top 50. Jaye was in 47th place overall after posting a 74 on Sunday.
Robert Cronheim and
Mark Baity were the team's third and fourth scorers in 66th and 85th place, respectively.
First Day Results
TOWSON, Md. -- Cornell ended the two-day first round of the Fireline Towson Invitational in 10th place among 19 teams after shooting a 621. The Big Red stands ahead of schools such as Boston College, Georgetown and Seton Hall. Competition will conclude on Sunday with the final round.
Dan Bosse sits 20th in the 100 player field after shooting a 74-76-150.
Robert Cronheim also finished among the top 50 golfers on the day, registering a 31st-place effort with a 74-80-154.
Rounding out Cornell's scoring was Matthew Haye in 58th (77-81-158),
Mark Baity in 76th (82-79-161) and
John Dean in 81st (83-79-162).
