He was a two-time indoor Heptagonal track champion in the 60-yard/55-meter dash, winning that event in 1978 and 1980 to earn All-Ivy honors both years, while placing second in 1979. Raboy also won All-Ivy honors in running the leadoff leg of the 400-meter relay that won outdoor Heps titles in 1977, 1978 and 1979, setting the meet record in both 1977 and 1978. He ran the leadoff leg of the nationally ranked 400-meter relay that placed fourth at the USTFF championships to earn All-America honors in 1977. He led off the 400-meter relay to the existing Cornell record with a time of 39.83 in the semifinal heat of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 1978. Raboy also set existing team records in the 55 meters indoors in 1979 and as a member of the 800-meter relay outdoors, as well as the outdoor record in the 100 meters in 1978. He also earned All-East status with his third-place finish in the 60-yard dash at the indoor IC4A championships in 1979. He was captain of the team in 1979-80 and was the recipient of the Gatling Award as the senior who has done the most for Cornell track. The former Endwell, N.Y., native is a graduate of Maine-Endwell High School, where he was the state champion in the 60-yard dash. He lives in Staten Island, N.Y.
