Two-time All-Ivy and All-America 1st team pick as defenseman, 1977 and 1978, and helped Cornell to national titles in 1976 and '77. Twice won the Schmeisser Memorial Cup as nation's outstanding defenseman in Division I. Four-year starter. His fine defensive play shut down some of the finest attackmen ever to play the game. Tri-captain in 1978. Selected as starter for US National team which won the World Games championship in 1982.
