He was a six-time All-Ivy performer in track and cross country on the basis of his top Ivy finishes at the Heptagonal championship meets. He placed second at the 1979 Heps cross country championships and went on to finish 19th at the IC4A championships to earn All-East honors. He was tri-captain and team MVP of the cross country team as a senior. Predmore was the recipient of the Outstanding Performer Award at the 1980 indoor Heptagonal championships when he won the 5,000-meter run in Heps, Barton Hall and Cornell record time of 14:18.5 and then ran the anchor leg on the come-from-behind first-place distance medley relay. He scored in all three long distance events at the 1980 outdoor Heps, winning the 10,000 meters, placing third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and fourth in the 5,000. He ran the third leg of the first-place distance medley relay at the indoor Heps in 1978 and the anchor leg of the second-place DMR in 1979. Predmore was second in the 10,000 meters and fifth in the 5,000 at the outdoor Heps in 1979. He placed seventh in the 5,000 at the 1979 outdoor IC4A championships, running a school record time of 14:14.6. He finished sixth in the 5,000 at the indoor IC4A championships in 1980, earning All-East honors. He lettered in varsity soccer his freshman year but gave up the sport to concentrate on cross country and track. Predmore, who also lettered in soccer as a freshman, was named the 1979-80 Cornell Sun Athlete of the Year. He is graduate of Fairport (N.Y.) High School and lives in Clifton Park, N.Y.
