Retired in July 1998 as Cornell's sports information director after 21 years (1977-98) of publicizing Big Red varsity sports. Served in the same capacity at Bucknell (1967-77) and Ithaca College (1965-67). In his tenure as an SID, he received more than 20 national awards for outstanding publications. Was presented with the Arch Ward Award by the College Sports Info. Directors of America in '92. Has served as treasurer of CoSIDA since '77. Inducted into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame in '86 and the Ithaca College Sports Hall of Fame in '87. Received the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Assoc. WIlbur Snypp Award and the Elmore Hudgins Award from the All-American Football Foundation in '97. Member of the press services staff at the '8l National Sports Festival, '83 and '87 Pan Am Games, the '93 World University Games, and the '96 Summer Olympics.
