Set world indoor 600m record while a freshman at Villanova (transferred to Cornell for her soph year) to rank No. 1 and four-time All-Ivy and three-time All-East performer, competing in 800m-1500m. Won national indoor 800m title in '82, setting meet and school record. Won Eastern title in 800 indoors and outdoors 1982; outdoor 800 champ '8l. Set numerous indoor and outdoor Cornell records from 500m-1500m and as member of sprint medley, distance, 1600m and 3200m relays. Ithaca Journal Female Athlete of the Year 1981. Team's most valuable runner 1981-82.
