He was a four-time All-Ivy forward on the men's ice hockey team, earning first-team honors in both 1984 and 1985, second-team accolades in 1986 and honorable mention in 1983. He was the Co-Ivy Player of the Year in 1984, when he led the Ivies in scoring with 32 points on 11 goals and 21 assists and received the team's MVP award. A tri-captain as a junior and senior, he was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Star second team in 1985 and received ECAC honorable mention in '86, when Cornell won the ECAC championship. Moeser was third in the ECAC in scoring with 41 points, and he ranked 12th in the NCAA Division I with 50 points as a sophomore. At the end of his four years with the Big Red, he ranked fifth in both career points (177) and career goals (81). A native of Waterloo, Ont., he graduated from Bluevale Collegiate Institute and currently makes his home in Friedberg, Germany.
