Barfield Prichett was a four-year letter winner who graduated with Cornell records in the 200, 500, 1000 and 1650 free and the 400 individual medley. She was named to the All-Ivy second team for her second-place performances in the 500 and the 1650 free at the Eastern championships in 1994. Barfield Prichett had three top five finishes at Easterns as a freshman (third in the 500 free, fourth in the 400 IM and 1650 free). She was team MVP as a freshman and sophomore and served as co-captain as a senior and tri-captain as a junior. She earned the Richie Moran Award as a senior for her efforts in and out of the classroom and community.
