He was a center on the varsity basketball team in 1919, and played forward in 1920 and 1921. He captained the team as a junior and senior. He was selected to the All-Eastern League team. He lettered as a goaltender in soccer in 1920 and 192l. His excellent play limited opposition to only five goals during 1921 season. He was named to the All-Eastern League second team in 1921.
