Two-sport standout. Named to All-Ivy 1st team in soccer in 1985 and '86; 2nd team in '87. Runner-up for Ivy Player of the Year, 1986. Three-time All-NYS pick. Three-time GTE Academic All-American; maintained 4.0 GPA in mech. engr. Team MVP '85 & '86. Captain 1987. Named to Adidas Scholar-Athletic All-America team in 1985 & '86. Graduated as Cornell's 4th all-time leading scorer (21-6-48). Standout in track; ran leg on 4x400m relay which was 2nd in IC4A final outdoors in '86, won indoor Heps title in '88 & outdoor title in '86 & '88. Set school record in 500m in placing 3rd at '86 indoor Heps; also ran leg on winning mile relay which set Heps & school record.
