He placedsecond at the 1921 IC4A cross country championships, as Cornell won its second consecutive team title. He placed 8th at the 1920 IC4A cross country championships. He lettered in cross country in 1920 and 1921, and he won letters in track in 1921 and 1922. He won the 2-mile run at the indoor IC4As in 1922 when Cornell won the IC4A team title; was 5th in outdoor IC4A 2-mile in 1922. (Pre-1930 List).
