Kelly Jr. Memorial Award as the nation's best goaltender in 1971, despite being injured on the final day of the regular season and missing the NCAA playoffs. He led the Ivy League in goaltending as both a junior and senior, and was the league's second best goalie as a sophomore. Named the lacrosse team's most valuable player in 1971, he was a member of the hockey team in 1969-70 as a backup goaltender, thus becoming the only Cornellian to play on two national championship teams in different sports. In 1974 he was the starting goaltender for the U.S. in the World Lacrosse Games. As an undergraduate he resided in Manhasset, N.Y.
