He was a two-time All-Ivy 1st team forward (1978 and 1980), received All-Ivy honorable mention in 1981 and was All-Ivy 2nd team in 1982. He was named to NCAA All-Tournament team in '80. He led the ECAC in scoring (18-22-40) and led the team with 20-25-45 overall (which ranked him 10th in NCAA Div. I) in 1982. He ranks 3rd on Cornell's career points list (200) and 3rd in career assists (107); 2nd in career goals (93). He was selected to play in the American Hockey Coaches Association All-Star game as a senior. He was a 5th-round pick by Minnesota in the 1978 NHL draft.
