The only Cornellian to have participated in two varsity women's sports in one season. She competed in sprint events for the swim team for three seasons and played wing/defense for the ice hockey team for four years. She was tri-captain of the hockey team as a junior and senior and received All-Ivy honorable mention in 1978-79. She graduated 2nd in career assists (73) and 3rd in career points (119). She swam the 50 & 100 free, 50 & 100 breaststroke, 100 I.M., the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay events. She was one of the team's top point scorers as a freshman, recording a total of 20 firsts in the Big Red's seven dual meets. She lettered in swimming in 1978-79 (the first year Cornell awarded letters to women athletes) and she won letters in hockey in 1978-79 and 1979-80.
