A versatile athlete, she co-captained the field hockey team in 1976 and 1977 and the lacrosse squad as a junior and senior. A three-year regular in lacrosse and a four-year member of the field hockey squad, she helped the 1978 lacrosse team to a second-place finish in the New York state tournament. She was runner-up in team scoring in 1976 and was third as a junior and senior. She was selected as radio station WVBR Female Athlete of the Year in 1978.
