An outstanding infielder during his three-year career at Cornell, he was named to the All-Eastern Intercollegiate Baseball League first team at third base in both 1971 and 1972. He was a District II All-Star third-team pick in 1971. He led the Big Red in several categories in 1970 and 1972, including batting, hits, home runs and RBI. He was captain and the team's most valuable player in 1972.
