He was a four-year letterman in lightweight football. Was a tailback in 1983-84-85, played wide receiver in 1986 and was the team's punter all four years. He led the team in kickoff returns and punting for three seasons; led the team in rushing (79x424) in 1984; topped the team in receiving in 1986 (20x500). Tri-captain and team MVP, 1986. He was a three-time All-ELFL first-team selection -- as the punter/running back in 1984, as the punter in 1985 and at wide receiver in 1986....Helped the lightweights tie for the league crown in both 1984 (5-2 overall, 4-1 ELFL) and 1986 (6-1 overall, 4-1 ELFL).
