ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior Nick Sachvie has been named a First Team All-American by the College Squash Association. It's the third time Sachvie has been named an All-American in his three years at Cornell and the second time he has been named to the first team.

Canada's top-ranked junior player when he enrolled at Cornell, Sachvie has been nothing short of spectacular in his collegiate career. He competed exclusively at the No. 1 position in all three of his seasons with the Big Red, becoming the first member of the program to advance all the way to the CSA's Individual Championships during his sophomore season. He was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and a first-team All-American that season.

Sachvie once again anchored the top spot in the Big Red's lineup in his final two seasons, posting an 11-8 record in both campaigns. He advanced to the quarterfinals in this year's national championships, where he lost to top-seeded Todd Harrity of Princeton. He finished the season ranked sixth in the nation by the CSA.
