Bagley Claims Men's Soccer Division I Scoring Title

ITHACA, N.Y. -- When all the games were played, Cornell senior men's soccer player Tyler Bagley was on the top of the pile. The Big Red attacker won the NCAA Division I scoring title, leading the nation in points per game (2.19). He also finished tied for fourth in total points (35) and goals per game (0.88), sixth in goals (14), 46th in assists per game (0.44) and 53rd in total assists (seven).

Bagley started all 16 games for the 11-3-2 Big Red, scoring 14 goals with seven assists for 35 points. A unanimous first-team All-Ivy League and first-team Northeast all-region pick, Bagley was twice named Ivy League Player of the Week and to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week, and on September 14th earned United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week accolades. Bagley had four multi-goal games on the season, including two goals and an assist in an overtime victory over UC Santa Barbara. He also notched a goal and three assists in a win against Harvard. Following the season, he was chosen in the MLS SuperDraft as the 54th pick overall by the Inter Miami FC.
