Biography
At Cornell
Johnson added depth to the distance group in his rookie season and scored points at the Ivy League meet in both the 1000 and 1650 free. With another year under his belt, the program is expecting only good things from Johnson in 2013-14.
Prior to Cornell
A four-year letter winner at Hart Senior HS, Johnson helped lead the team to four straight league titles. He was elected captain of the varsity team as a senior. Johnson swam for the Canyona Aquatics Club. He was a scholastic All-American in 2010.
Personal
Mitchell Raymond Johnson is the son of Gary and Carolyn Johnson and has a younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
