At Cornell 

Christopher Van Alstyne joined the Big Red Strength and Conditioning Staff from Allegheny College where he spent the last two years overseeing the development of 23 varsity teams and developing 15 NCAC All-Conference players.
 
Prior to joining the staff at Allegheny, Van Alstyne served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Women’s Lacrosse at Slippery Rock University. During his time, Van Alstyne developed seven PSAC All-Conference Players, 2018 PSAC Player of the Year and an IWLCA Division II second-team All-American.
 
Before his time at Slippery Rock, Van Alstyne spent just over three years at Hamilton College, where he served as the full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach for their athletic department. Van Alstyne worked with 29 varsity athletic teams and helped to develop nine All-Americans, 62 all-conference athletes and the Division III National Hockey Player of the Year.
 
Van Alstyne also interned in the summer of 2013 at Cornell University where he helped administer strength and conditioning programs for multiple varsity sport teams.
 
In addition to his collegiate athletics work, Van Alstyne has numerous years of experience working as a personal trainer and athletic performance coach.
 

Prior to Cornell

Val Alstyne played varsity football at St. John Fisher (2009-10) and SUNY Cortland (2011-12).
