Ulises Hernandez

Hernandez is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the men's tennis team, after helping guide the Big Red to new heights during the 2016-2017 campaign. Cornell finished the year ranked 26th nationally on the strength of a 22-4 record, the program's second Ivy League title, its first at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, and its first victory in the national championship with a 4-0 win over Rice in the Baylor Regional.

Hernandez joined the Big Red after competing for four years at Loras College in Iowa. He earned his bachelor's in Sport Management & Marketing with a minor in Public Relations. Hernandez has also served as a tennis camp counselor at Vanderbilt and as an assistant coach with Dubuque High School tennis team in Iowa.
