At Cornell
Coming off a very successful freshman campaign, Ali Guba has already made her mark on the Cornell record books. She was part of the school-record breaking 400 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay units, as well as being part of both the fifth- and sixth-best 200 medley relay teams and the second-best 200 freestyle relay team in the school's history.  In individual events last year, Guba's time in the 50 freestyle was good enough for eighth all-time at Cornell, and her time in the 100 freestyle pulled in the 10th spot in the record books.  At the Ivy championships, Guba scored valuable points for the team by coming in fifth in the consolation of the 100 free.

At Pelham Memorial
A two-sport athlete at Pelham HS, Ali Guba participated in swimming for six years and lacrosse for four years.  In swimming, she was a two-time captain and broke multiple school records, while also being named a USA Swimming Academic All-American in 2007 through 2009.  A three-time state swimming finalist, Guba also excelled in lacrosse where she was named All-League in 2007 and 2009 and was the school's all-time leading scorer.  

Personal
Allison Guba is the daughter of Tim and Connie Guba, and she has one younger sister.  She is enrolled in Cornell's College of Human Ecology.
