Tracey Leipold

Leipold has completed one season as an assistant coach with Big Red, where she did extensive work with the team's goalkeepers and helped Meghan Kennedy '19 earn All-Ivy League honorable mention.

Leipold joined the Big Red after seven seasons as the head coach at Le Moyne College, her alma mater, where she led the Dolphins to program-best Northeast-10 record of 8-5-1 and a trip to the conference quarterfinals during the 2014 season. The Division II squad had 13 all-conference and four all-region selections under Leipold's guidance. Her career head coaching record is 43-66-14.

Leipold also has international experience — having served as a staff coach for the Antigua and Barbuda women's national team in 2012 — and Division I experience, having served as an assistant coach at Coastal Carolina for three seasons. She helped guide the Chanticleers to a program-record 12 shutouts during the 2007 season and an appearance in the conference semifinals in 2006. She has additional experience as the head coach and assistant coach at Lees-McRae from 1997-2004.

As a four-year starting goalkeeper from 1991-94, Leipold anchored a defense that guided Le Moyne to a 48-24-1 overall record. In setting a program record with 12 wins in 1992 and 1993, her four seasons with the Dolphins were the most successful period in the program's history. In her senior season, Le Moyne finished the season ranked seventh nationally.

Leipold has a bachelor's in psychology from Le Moyne and a master's in school counseling from Appalachian State.
