2025-26 Sports Nutrition Staff

Our vision is to empower student-athletes and coaches to utilize nutrition as a core variable for optimized performance and recovery, and to prepare for a healthy life after Cornell.

Our mission is to improve and develop a Sports Nutrition program that conveys a consistent fueling performance and wellness message, reduces barriers to fueling, and helps connect student-athletes to campus resources.

Services
Individual Nutrition Education/Counseling
All Cornell Student Athletes are eligible for one-on-one nutrition education/counseling to address their nutritional or fueling concerns. Referrals for individual support are best facilitated through an athlete's athletic trainer. If this is not feasible, please email Allyssa Harrington at ah953@cornell.edu directly.

Team/Group Education and/or Fueling Plans
For teams that are interested in scheduling a performance nutrition team talk or developing a training focused fueling plan, please email Allyssa Harrington at ah953@cornell.edu

Chocolate Milk Refuel Program
CSN has partnered with Cornell Dairy to provide chocolate milk to refuel student athletes after scheduled strength and conditioning sessions at Friedman Strength and Conditioning Center. This is limited to organized training sessions overseen by a member of the S&C coaching staff.

If teams are interested in providing additional chocolate milk after team training sessions please contact your sport administrator to discuss your team's needs.

Supplement Review
All nutritional supplements provided for Cornell Student Athletes must be pre-approved by the coach or support staff member interested in providing the supplement by Allyssa Harrington by emailing the request to ah953@cornell.edu.

All athletes taking nutritional supplement should also obtain approval for all supplements through the same process.

More details on the supplement approval process can be found in the Cornell University Student Athlete Handbook.
