LEWISBURG, Penn. -- Senior forward Erica Olson (Minneapolis, Minn.) found the back of the net at 75:50 with a strike from the left wing to give Cornell a 1-0 victory at Bucknell in women's soccer. Cornell upped its season record to 4-6-3 with the win, surpassing last year's win total of three.

Sophomore midfielder Adie Sherwood (Woodinville, Wash.) assisted on the game's lone goal to earn her first point as a member of the Big Red. Olson's score was her second of the season and the fifth of her Cornell career.

After being named Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Monday, freshman goalkeeper Katie Thomas (Northridge, Calif.) posted her third shutout of the season, making five saves.

Bucknell matched Cornell in shots with 10 and held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks. Bison goalkeepers Laurie Purse and Kelly Kannen combined to make five saves in the losing effort. With the loss, Bucknell drops to 9-5.
