Men's Squash Defeats Franklin and Marshall

ITHACA, N.Y.-The Cornell men's squash team beat Franklin and Marshall 7-2 on Sunday, improving their record to 4-2 overall.

The middle spots in the lineup won the match for Cornell, with senior Darryl Chow (Repulse Bay, Hong Kong) leading the way with a hard fought 3-2 victory at the No. 3 position (9-5, 4-9, 5-9, 9-5, 9-6). Junior captain Jeff Porter (Haverford, Pa.) played a strong game in the No. 4 spot, beating Franklin and Marshall's Eric Bardawil (9-2, 9-0, 9-3). Freshman Mike Delany (Milton, Mass.) was a 3-1 winner at the No. 6 spot, while junior Shloka Melwani (Bombay, India) won 3-0 at No. 7.

The Big Red returns to action January 12, when it travels to Amherst, Mass. to take on UMass.
