Princeton, N.J. -- The Cornell men's squash team faced a tough Princeton squad today, falling to the Tigers 7-2. Their record stands at 1-1.
Senior Tim Nagel (Toronto, Ontario), moving from the #1 position he held last year to the #5 position on this strong Big Red squad, won his match in five games, defeating Aaron Zimmerman, 3-2. Freshman Matt Greenberg (Meadowbrook, Pa) was also victorious, facing Dent Wilkins at the #6 position. Greenberg won the match, 3-2.
Battling at the #2 position in a close match were freshman Matthew Serdiak (Regina, Sask.) and Princeton's Will Evans. Serediak managed to take Evans into a fifth game, but Evans slid by with the victory, 3-2.
The Big Red returns to action on December 7th, when it faces Harvard at 2pm at the Belkin Squash Courts.
