ITHACA, N.Y. -- Senior Jeff Porter scored victories in both matches as the Big Red split a pair of Saturday matches, falling 8-1 to Yale and topping Williams 9-0. The Big Red moved to 3-6 on the season with the split.

Porter ws the lone winner against Yale, taking a decision at position six over Chris Wyant. Porter answered that win with a triumph over Charlie Giammettei in the same position in the victory over Williams. Cornell was dominant up and down the ladder in the sweep.

Cornell will return to action tomorrow at 10 a.m. when it meets Ivy League foe Brown.
