Yale Defeats Cornell 7-2 in Men's Squash

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Cornell men's squash team fell to Yale at the men's Collegiate Squash Association National Championships. The Big Red is competing in the Potter Division, which is the top flight at the tournament. The two teams battled it out at the University of Pennsylvania's Ringe Courts.

Cornell earned its two wins at the No. 1 and No. 4 positions. Matt Serediak claimed a hard fought battle over Julian Illingworth, winning 9-5, 1-9, 9-7, 7-9, 9-7.

Mike Delany had an easier time of it, taking the No. 4 spot from Josh Schwartz, 9-1, 9-1, 9-1.

Cornell will next face Penn in a 3:30 match at Princeton's Jadwin Gymnasium courts. The Quakers fell to the Tigers 9-0 in their opening match.
