PRINCETON, N.J. - Rebounding from a first round loss yesterday, the Cornell men's squash team earned a commanding 7-2 victory over Penn this afternoon at the Collegiate Squash Association National Championships. Cornell went into this postseason tournament with a No.6 ranking but will next battle Western Ontario, a team they lost a close 5-4 match to earlier in the season, for the No.5 spot.

The Big Red victory over Penn was not without struggle as seven of the nine matches went past three games. Playing at the No.1 spot, Matt Serediak (Regina, Sask.) battled back from a two-game deficit to beat Rich Repetto in five games. Freshman Matt Greenberg (Meadowbrook, Pa.) also took his match into five games eventually defeating Drew Crockett 3-2.

The Big Red look to avenge their early season loss and clinch fifth place when they take on Western Ontario tomorrow at 3:00 in Princeton's Jadwin Gymnasium.
