LANCASTER, PA- Cornell easily rolled past Franklin and Marshall to make their first contest a win at the Mayser Center. Not only did the Red take 8 out of 9 of the matches, but they won seven of those is straight sets. Two Cornell squashers, Margot Dickson and Claire Zipf, didn't even drop a single game!
Seeds 2 through 9 all won their matches, with only top-seeded Mairin Barnes falling to F&M's ace Freedy McNeely. Dominating efforts were typical on the day for Cornell, with seven of Cornell's nine players not allowing more than 4 game wins for their opponent in any set.
The Red play tommorow at Penn and also on Sunday.
