ITHACA, N.Y.- With the Cornell Tennis Invitational going on next door, The Belkin Courts were quite the center of activity this weekend as the Big Red had its hands full against a tough Dartmouth squad. The Green proved too much for Cornell handle as Cornell fell by a score of 9-0 and saw their record decline to 9-3.

The bright spot of the contest for Cornell had to be the tough play of Joanna Wolfson to force the second set of her match against Rebecca Loucks to ten games, coming close to claiming the only set win for the Red on the day. First seeded captain Mairin Barnes also played well by keeping the first two sets very close but couldn't hold on.

The women have a busy weekend ahead of them next weekend as they go on the road to play two games against Trinity and Bowdoin respectively on Saturday before taking on Bates College in Hartford on Sunday.
