CAMBRIDGE, MA - After getting soundly beaten in a shutout by the Crimson earlier in the morning, the Red rebounded by the early afternoon to give Bates some of the same treatment, beating the tenth ranked Bobcats 7-2 to post its first win of the season.

The dominant Harvard team had homecourt advantage in their favor as they dictated the action against the overmatched Cornell squad at 11 a.m. The Red couldn't manage to salvage a set against the Crimson, who have yet to lose one this year.

But the afternoon was a different story as Both Bates and Cornell took to unfamiliar courts to face off. Cornell won the top seven positions en route to a 7-2 drubbing of Bates.
