CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Harvard scored one goal in each half to send the Cornell men's soccer team to a 2-0 defeat in an Ivy League contest on Saturday afternoon at Ohiri Field in Cambridge, Mass.
The Crimson got on the board in the 26th minute as Michael Fucito scored on a left-footed shot from 25 yards out. Harvard would take the 1-0 lead into the half, but added a second strike shortly afterwards as John Stamatis knocked in a header off a cross from Andre Akpan just 1:42 after the break.

Scott Brody made two saves in the loss, while Harvard netminder Austin Harms stopped six shots for his second straight shutout.
Cornell returns to action on Wednesday, stepping out of Ivy League play for a 7 p.m. contest against Penn State at Berman Field.
