HANOVER, N.H. -- A pair of second half goals were enough to send the Cornell men's soccer team to a 2-0 loss on Saturday afternoon at Burnham Field in Hanover, N.H. The Big Red falls to 5-6-5 on the year and 0-3-3 in Ivy League play with the defeat.

After a scoreless first half that saw Cornell goalkeeper Rick Pflasterer make four saves, the Big Green got on the board in the 53rd minute, as Andrew Olsen scored his third goal of the year, streaking into the penalty area with Luck Mkosana, taking a pass and putting a shot past the freshman goalkeeper.

Dartmouth added to the lead in the 72nd minute as Mkosana scored, racing to catch up to a long ball from Daniel Keat and putting a shot on the Cornell goal frame that Pflasterer got a hand on, but not enough to prevent the Big Green's second goal.

Dartmouth (10-5-1, 4-2 Ivy) out-shot the Big Red, 16-6, with Pflasterer stopping seven shots on the game. Dartmouth goalkeeper Sean Donovan stopped two shots for the shutout victory.

Cornell closes out the 2009 season on Saturday when it plays host to Columbia in a 4 p.m. contest at Berman Field. Saturday's match will mark the final collegiate game for Cornell seniors Matt Bouraee, J.J. Bain and Matt Devitt.
