CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—The Big Red women's polo team continued its perfect season this weekend when it defeated Virginia, 22-12. Cornell is 17-0 for the year.

After trading goals back and forth, the Big Red took a 4-3 lead after the first chukker. Cornell took control of the match in the second to take an 11-5 advantage into the half. The Cavaliers closed in on Cornell in the third, but the Big Red switched gears in the fourth to ride away with a 22-12 victory.


The Big Red will be back in action on March 6 when it will play host to Teabrook.
