WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The women's squash team rebounded from a season-opening loss to secure three consecutive 9-0 victories on Saturday and Sunday at the Williams Round Robin.
 
The seventh-ranked Big Red topped No. 12 Middlebury on Saturday evening, then swept No. 9 Williams and No. 13 Mount Holyoke to wrap up play on Sunday. The weekend started with a 7-2 loss against sixth-ranked Stanford.
 
Jesse Pacheco and Lindsay Seginson swept their four matches on the weekend from the third and fourth positions, respectively. Cornell dropped three five-set matches against Stanford.
 
Danielle Letourneau (No. 1), Rachel Au (No. 6), Alexandra Glassman (Nos. 7 and 8) and Clare Berner (Nos. 8 and 9) all won three straight-set matches apiece over the weekend, and Lauren Sachvie won a pair of three-set matches – including a win against Williams that involved a marathon 22-20 victory to wrap up the match.
 
Cornell kicks off the home portion of its schedule with an Ivy League matchup against Columbia at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. The doubleheader wraps up with a
non-league match against St. Lawrence at 3 p.m.
