2/10/2011 12:56:16 PM

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Despite wins from three of the top four spots in the order, the Cornell men's squash team dropped a 5-4 contest to Rochester on Wednesday night at the Belkin International Squash Courts in Ithaca. The loss sends Cornell to 8-4 on the year.

Nicholas Sachvie, Alex Domenick, Thomas Spettigue and Steven Peever each collected a win on the night, with Sachvie and Spettigue both winning in straight sets. Domenick needed four sets to win his match, while Peever was victorious in five sets, with McKay Claghorn dropping a five-set match that would have tilted the team score in favor of the Big Red.

Cornell closes out the regular season on Saturday, taking on Hobart in a 2 p.m. match at the Belkin Squash Courts.
