ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's squash team improved to 8-3 on the season with a pair of wins on Sunday, defeating Brown, 8-1, and St. Lawrence, 9-0, at the Belkin International Squash Courts in Ithaca.

Cornell opened up the day with the Bears and eased to the victory, with seven of the eight Cornell wins finishing in three sets and the eighth going to the Big Red after Thomas Spettigue's opponent retired with Spettigue up two sets to none. 

The afternoon match featured the Big Red against the Saints, and again, Cornell took seven of the nine wins in straight sets. 

Cornell returns to action on Wednesday with a special mid-week matchup against Rochester at 6 p.m. at the Belkin Squash Courts in Ithaca.
