EASTON, Pa. -- Inclement weather has forced the cancellation of the Cornell women's soccer team's game Wednesday night at Lafayette. A make-up date for the game has not yet been determined, if it will be rescheduled at all.

Heavy rains hung around Eastern Pennsylvania for the majority of the day, leading to the National Weather Service's issuance of a Flash Flood Warning in Lafayette's area. Lightning was in the vicinity at the contest's original start time of 7 p.m., forcing a delay. After about a half-hour, the coaches agreed to cancel the game.

Cornell will stay in the Keystone State for Friday night's game at Penn, which is also scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.
