Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – Despite outshooting Brown 25-5, the Cornell men's soccer team fell to the Bears 1-0 Saturday on Berman Field.

Cornell carried the play in the first half, generating 10 of its 25 shots and forcing Brown goalkeeper Josh Weiner to make four saves. Both of the Bears' shots two on goal came in the first half, the first of which came off a corner kick in the 12th minute.

Jose Salama played the ball into the box for Brown and found teammate Nate Pomeroy in front. Pomeroy's header was stopped by Cornell junior midfielder Atticus DeProspo at the goal line to keep the game knotted at 0-0.

Cornell was not as fortunate on the Bears' second shot. With the Big Red a man down in the 45th minute due to a player being sent off for a uniform violation, Brown's Daniel Taylor hit a cross from the left side to Tariq Akeel who headed the ball near post past Zach Zagorski for the only goal of the game.

Zagorski did not record a save in the contest, while Weiner finished with nine.
