Box Score (PDF) WEST POINT, N.Y. – Cornell sprint football had a tall task Friday evening as it looked to jump back into the win column against an Army squad that has not lost in over two years. The Black Knights used a 35-point outburst in the second quarter to down the Big Red 49-7 at Shea Stadium.
The turnover battle was again the decider as the Big Red failed to be thrifty with the ball for the second consecutive game. Cornell turned the ball over five times, including three – two interceptions and one fumble – in the decisive second quarter.

Neither of the Big Red's young signal callers could find much traction against the Black Knights defense corps. Sophomore
Rob Pannullo went 4-of-19 for 58-yards and two interceptions, adding 14-yards on ten rushing attempts. Freshman
Karriem Royster found a little more success, going 8-of-23 for 75-yards and one interception, adding 31-yards on the ground.
