PRINCETON, N.J. — The women's squash team was defeated by Princeton, 9-0, on Sunday afternoon in the Big Red's regular-season finale. The result locks Cornell (8-5, 3-4 Ivy League) into the sixth seed for the Howe Cup, the College Squash Association's national championship, which is staged Feb. 21-23 at Princeton.

Fifth-ranked Princeton (9-3, 4-3) won six of the nine matches in the minimum three games. Senior Jessenia Pacheco (No. 2) and junior Lindsay Seginson (No. 4) each won the second game of their respective matches before falling in four. Junior Danielle Letourneau was then resilient in her No. 1 match, winning the third and fourth games in extra points before eventually losing in a fifth game.
