PRINCETON, N.J. -- The women's squash team finished its season Sunday with a 8-1 loss to fifth-ranked Princeton in the consolation final of the Howe Cup at Jadwin Squash Courts.

Laura Caty accounted for the Big Red's lone point with a five-game victory at the No. 9 position. She built a two-game lead before falling in extra points in the third game. Her opponent then forced a fifth game which again went to extras, but Caty prevailed, 13-11.

Caty's match was the only one to go to five games on the day, but the Big Red forced a fourth game in five of the other matches. Cornell will finish the season ranked sixth by the College Squash Association for the third consecutive year under 10
